Changing Career Paths

She remembered seeing a chiropractor as a teenager. “I looked him up. After discussing the possibilities, chiropractic seemed the obvious career choice. I love science, and as soon as I got into the classwork, I was hooked.”

Pursuing Training in Pediatric Chiropractic

It was in chiropractic college that she met Dr. Maxine McMullen, a remarkable woman and pediatric chiropractor. This exposure led Dr. Amy to achieve Diplomate status with the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics. Dr. Amy spent a lot of weekends away from home, It was an intense three-year, 400-hour post-graduate program. There were seminars, research projects and extensive practical clinical application. She loved it. “I did all this while becoming pregnant and having a child.” Dr. Amy has completed training in Cranial Sacral Therapy and is a Certified Lactation Counselor®.
